$1
LiveBeam charges $1 for every registered viewer, either for private shows, Pay-Per-View or free broadcasts which is normally paid for from sponsor funds. |
$450 (1000 Gigabytes)
LiveBeam charges $450 per Terabyte for data transferred from our servers to video players of your viewers. One Terabyte will serve approximately 5500 viewers streaming 400Kbps for one hour (or 2200 viewers at 1000Kbps). Purchasing additional Terabytes takes only a couple of minutes (even during a show), and we do warn you if you are about to exceed your allotment. Please note that any unused portion may be used on future shows or VOD's. |
$250
Each event will its own unique video player. You may have multiple live shows, and multiple VOD (Video On Demand) recorded shows for a viewer to select from. There are many options to choose when configuring your player such as full screen, advertising, moderated chat... Livebeam will help you develop the perfect video player for your requirements. |

Streaming from an event with a wireless connection or even from a good terrestrial connection to a wide audience is impossible because each viewer pulls one stream and it bottlenecks very quickly as shown below.

Webcasting From The Source
(Even if that source is a very fast T1 connection) |

Webcasting From A Central Hub
(Hubs are
located on the Internet Backbone) |
If 10 viewers were pulling 10 streams (at 400Kbps), then it would require 3 high-speed T1's to provide for them all, and that is only for 10 viewers! Smart Producers understand webcasting a live event needs to be broadcast from a central hub server located on the Internet backbone... i.e., LiveBeam.
LiveBeam handles the complexities taking your video stream and broadcasting it to a wide audience. Livebeam servers are linked directly into the backbone of the Internet for handling thousands of simultaneous high-bandwidth connections from viewers. LiveBeam web distribution does what Do-It-Yourself streamcasts can not... broadcasting to a large audience.

The Embedded Video Player
A viewer registers with your show by simply clicking on a "Register" or "Pre-Register" link you create on your site. A Pop-up window presents a standard form for user information as well as credit card information if a show is being purchased. A viewer will never navigate away from your site so that you keep complete control of the message.
Live chat help is provided to your viewers 1/2 hour before and event, and during the event. This is for viewers who are registering, paying or simply logging in. We increase our support department size to accommodate your show at no additional costs to you. Consider us your free support department to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Each video player has has two spaces used for sponsorships, advertisements, or just show information. The spots may have multiple (stackable) ads and each can be timed for when to dissolve to the next ad. While the video player does have the option for full-screen mode, this option can be turned off so that the advertisements stay on player video screen.
A chat window gives viewers a way to share their thoughts and a moderator to decide to publish each thought to prevent chatters from getting abusive or off topic. A "free chat" un-moderated option is also easily configured.
Above the chat window are share links to Twitter and Facebook that take advantage of the instant messaging to help advertise a live event when it's happening! Don't underestimate the power of these tools. A good moderator directs the viewers to share the event with these links.
There is extensive reporting with each show for total viewership, how long they stayed and watched, and all other information needed to determine the success of your broadcast.
Sure. The video player may be configured so that after registration, a live video stream begins. The costs are the same as any other kind of webcast.
LiveBeam again does all the work for you with your only responsibility of advertising the show. Simply direct the traffic to a web page you create that shows the costs of the show and when a potential buyer clicks on "Register" or "Pre-Register" button, a pop-up widow appears asking them for credit card information for that show. All the relevant information is taken, the card processed, and the buyer has been granted permission to view that show. If they don't already have a login and password, one is created at this point as well. For more information on Pay-Per-View, click here.
You are in control of registration. Simply create multiple login names (and passwords), and offer the intended viewer that one login account. This password information can only be used by one viewing stream. If another logs in with the same password, the existing viewer is disconnected. This prevents users for sharing login information.
You also have the control of how may viewers may log into a show at any given time. This feature is useful for non-pay-per-view events where the show is being paid for by a sponsor who has provided a fixed amount of funding.
